A knob is a round protrusion placed at the end of a shaft. A knob can be used to give a finished look to an exposed shaft, or it can be used as a dial or pointer. Knobs, available in several shapes and sizes can be manufactured in molded polycarbonate, ABS, nylon and bakelite.
